As mentioned above, the legendary chest is really expensive, but you can't rely on a Shrine of Blood to help you collect more money. If you are struggling to collect money, try to get your hands on Ghor's Tome. The treasure starts at 25 coins and increases over time. Holding a few tomes for a few stages will help you collect more money without relying on a Shrine of Blood. These are all the secrets that you can find in Abyssal Depths.
Next time you spawn in this environment, try to find everything! Eternals has a post-credit scene, but it's one that left many scratching their heads. When she's not writing or playing video games, you can catch her doing yoga and painting. Share Share Tweet Email. Related Topics Guides risk of rain 2. Jacqueline Zalace Articles Published. Read Next in indie games. Comment by rhastia FYI for any Portal fans out there. There is a hidden companion cube in the Abyssal Depths at 41, Its sitting in one of the gilbin clams near the top of one of the coral structures.
It's just chilling there being all companion-y. I love WoW for their subtle and sometimes not so subtle pop culture references, but this HAS to be one of the most well hidden in the game. Comment by Ballybog Here's a little bit of info about an "easter egg" for the zone. Upon looking at the screenshots, you will see in one of them a sea creature skeleton. I decided to go check it out. Although it's off the coast of Vash'Jir, it's actually located just past the Abyssal Depths zone and just inside the Great Sea zone.
Keep that in mind if you decide to go there, as it is important to remember that the Vash'Jir ability of Sea Legs Sea Legs and it's benefits including underwater breathing will not be available. Instead you will need some means of underwater breathing.
I flew as far south as I could, just before hitting the fatigue zone, then swam down to find the place. It felt like it took forever, and eventually I found it. There's the bones of several sea creatures, one particular set being enormous, as in Dragonnblight skeleton enormous. I wanted to go down and inspect up close, but ran into another fatigue line, so I cast Eagle Eye to get a better look. I also noticed a large globe object next to the largest skeleton, which looks as if it could be a huge pearl.
When I went to leave, I timed myself, and it took me 4 minutes and 6 seconds of straight upwards swimming to reach the surface from where I was at, just above the fatigue line.
Light may be detected as far as 1, meters down in the ocean, but there is rarely any significant light beyond meters. The ocean is divided into three zones based on depth and light level. Although some sea creatures depend on light to live, others can do without it.
Abysses may spawn a portal to the Abyssal Depths instead of an Abyssal Trove. The Depths are a relatively large area of winding passageways that contain a high number of rare enemies as well as Hoards; both may drop Abyss items such as the Stygian Vise. I wanted to unlock rex so I carried that fuel array though the game for two loops and no abyssal depths was in either.
In fact all my playthoughs this week have not had the abyssal depths show up. Its so frustraiting that you have to not drop below half health for 5 stages and then find out it was all for nothing apparently.
