Why joker is better than bane

However, given any prep time or strategy, the Joker would defeat Bane without a doubt. The Joker is one of the oldest Batman bad guys ever. Later, he regained his somewhat hardcore characteristics and abilities, making him a brutal yet highly popular Batman supervillain.

But, apart from being clinically insane, what can the Joker do that makes him such a potent threat to Bruce Wayne and the entire Gotham City? Above all his skills, what makes the Joker so malevolent is his spectacular manipulative skills.

His influence on people is so toxic, they all eventually either go mad or go bad, following him and listening to his command. He manipulated his psychiatrist, Harley Quinn, into falling in love with him and getting him out of Arkham Asylum. He always has brilliant plans to escape, manipulate, or defeat his opponents by tricking them into his traps.

That also witnesses his superior intellect. Well, because lack of morals, ethics, or empathy makes Joker capable of doing just about anything, including killing, torture, or whatever he needs to meet his goals. Before becoming the Clown Prince of Crime, the Joker was a chemical expert working at a plant, where he eventually fell into chemicals and got his specific looks, including the pale skin and the huge red grin.

Not only did it make him even better at chemistry, but it also gave him immunity to toxins while making his blood toxic at the same time. He also left Bane with his signature luchador mask, arguing that it would help people mistake him for something actually scary. The story ends with a note promising that the story is "to be continued in ", which certainly seems to tee up a major conflict between Joker and Bane in the months to come.

Given the fact that the issue also sets up a major new status quo change for Poison Ivy , it certainly seems like Batman's rogues gallery will be taken to new heights in the new year.

As a major villain that somehow helped Bane? In my opinion he would've been the better choice for the judge in the chaos courts. Joker's just a guy with a serious case of Shaudenfreude. The worst he did was threaten two boats of people and make people want to go after the guy who knew Batman's Identity. Joker brought the Mob to it's knee's, almost killed all of Gotham, he was smarter then Batman for almost the whole film, he vreated a monster out of a hero, and he did not care about anything.

KenTheProfile said:. Hell is Joker more dangerous than Lobo now too? I would rather face bane than facing joker.. I think Joker is more terrifying but Bane was more of a threat, he was also extremely ruthless and was prepared to kill everyone in Gotham. Joker is like that kid who takes drama class and literature as a minor while bane is that kid who got the NCAA scholarship, pencil-neck gets snapped.

First, no it was not that's what you took it to mean. I was pointing out that maybe they question should be Talia vs. If being caught or foiled is the measuring stick for being dangerous then all villains are ineffective and harmless. Bane needed a crippled Batman for his plan to work, meaning he could never operate against a fully ready Batman like Joker did.

Talia's plan was to blow up Gotham using the nuke,Bane's plan was pretty much everything else. The sham courts, stock exchange, plane hijack,Bat breaking, speeches, prison break etc were all Bane's doing. Not true, how many times has Ra's been caught? All have been caught only ONCE by the hero in their entire existence. Joker has never come anywhere near any of that. He's more of an occasional annoyance, with the only reason he's a threat period, being that Batman won't kill, so he keep showing up.

For all his 'unpredictability", he's just a punk like Zhaz, only he has more showmanship. They are both dangerous in differnt ways. The Joker's past is more sympathetic than Bane's because it is one which resonates with many people. Through the unreliable narration of the Joker's memories, we glean his struggle to support his wife and baby in The Killing Joke, one which ultimately culminates in their deaths, as well as his criminal record and disfigurement. Given these overwhelming circumstances, it's understandable as to why he snapped, and many can relate to the breaking point that he tipped beyond.

The Joker's life is a testament to what happens when one gives up completely. Most Batman villains are doomed when they run out of schemes and henchmen to throw in the way of the Dark Knight. From the Mad Hatter to Black Mask, few pose a serious threat against the Caped Crusader when finally confronted in a fair fight.

Bane does not share this weakness. Possessing brawn surpassing Killer Croc and intelligence rivaling the rest of Batman's rogues, when the Dark Knight finally faces off against his muscular opponent, the danger is just beginning. As one of Batman's oldest antagonists, Joker's many iterations and legacy of laughs and carnage are unrivaled by the rest of the hero's rogue's gallery.

From the zany, playful iterations of Cesar Romero to the unnerving and harrowing performance by Heath Ledger, there have been many wildly different though equally valid takes on the character. Though each reinvention may differ from one another, they embody different tenants of the Joker's essence. For instance, Cesar captures his comic relief, Heath Ledger reflects his insidiousness, and Mark Hamill balances the two.

In Batman's illustrious heroic career, he has gone against the likes of Metallo, Superman, and even occasionally Darkseid himself.
